We had a guest speaker Wednesday night, John Williams Jr. and his family.
John’s message was very uplifting, Psalms is always so comforting, especially the twenty-third.
John said the Good Shepherd is always there with his love and comfort, if we will accept it.
John gave the qualities of the Shepherd – providing , He is our personal shepherd, perserving, peaceful, present, always there, protection and promising. All of these attributes went with the verses.
John preached a uplifting message on when things are going so wrong, set down and read the 23rd Psalms and claim each promise.
Sunday God had blessed us with another beautiful day.
Remember the sick and our countries leaders and our military men and women.
The Pastor’s morning message was Galatians 5:16-26. This is a soul searching passage. How many of us professing Christians can answer yes. We are in conflict with flesh against the spirit. We are in need to let the Holy Spirit lead us at all times. Verses 24-26 tells us how to walk. It’s a hard road at time to travel, but God has promised, ” I will never leave you or forsake you.” What a promise!
We are having a candle light communion service December 29th at 6:00 p.m. Come be with us to worship.
We are located at the corner of N.W. 6th Ave. and N.W. 7th St.
