Sunday morning service was opened with the church band playing music and leading hymns.
Donna Lewis did the special and sang it beautifully.
Brother Roberts brought the message from Jonah 4, “Get Up and Go.”
Terry and Tracy Sarter were recognized for their dedication of service to the church.
I spent the night Friday with my sister, Helen Cook, in Seymour. We had a good visit.
On Tuesday, Helen and I took Mamma, Nora Hunsaker, to Springfield to have a routine checkup on her pacemaker. It was working fine and she doesn’t have to go back for a year.
Tuesday evening, We had a surprise 50th birthday party at our house for Kathleen Deatherage and she was totally surprised. Those attending were Jim and Audrey Turner, Margaret Burrington, Violet Flair, Nora Hunsaker, Lee Williams, Gene and Joan Orth, Dawn, Melissa and Jayden, Beth Stafford, Johnathon Snelson, Pauline Okhuysen, Julie Kookagey, Bonnie McKee and Florence, Vern and Kathleen Deatherage and Chris, Delmar and me.
We served nachos, veggies, cake , punch and coffee.
Delmar and I had supper with Jack and Barb Breshears one evening.
Betty DeChenne came up from Branson on Tuesday and visited with Delmar Rosseau and Beth Stafford. They also, enjoyed lunch together at Guacamoles. They were celebrating Beth’s birthday which had already passed.
