Sandy News

We were glad to see little Kylah Harris in our church on Sunday.  She is the daughter of Jim and Kendra Harris, the great-granddaughter of Bob Siler in our church family.  Judy Wilson prayed after several requests were given followed by singing.

After Sunday school classes, Danny Johnson led us in a song.  Danny prayed the offertory prayer as he and Jerry Pitts received our Lord’s tithes and offerings.  Several testimonies were given giving praise to our God.  Erin Crum and Makinna Humbyrd sang with LeaAnn Crum at the piano.

Pastor Neal prayed and read the warnings given by God in Hebrews.  He shared six of them.  He also shared six foundations recorded in chapter 6.

At 5 p.m., we met for choir practice.

At 6 p.m., Pastor Neal prayed followed by singing and some testimonies were shared.  He read from chapter 6 of Hebrews, if we will build our lives on the Lord Jesus Christ.  He must be the foundation.

Our deer hunter’s chili and pie day on Saturday was a great success.  We take donations and use the money for missions at home and away.

We have special prayer meeting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday and Bible study at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.  Come and worship with us.  You are welcome.
