A good morning to all our friends, neighbors and our readers. We hope everyone had a good and safe week and stayed warm. We have so much to be thankful for as the Thanksgiving holiday is this week. Do we stop and thank God for all that he does for us each and every day. So with this in mind, have a happy and safe Thanksgiving.
We send get-well wishes to all the sick, the ones in the hospitals and the nursing homes. Our sympathy to all who have lost loved ones. May God bless you in your time of sorrow. Our thoughts are with you.
We send greetings to all who have a birthday at this time. May you have a great day with many more to come is our wish for you.
This news from the desk of Lois Graham. On Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Dustin Thompkins and daughter of Oklahoma picked up Lois then went to Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Graham’s for an early Thanksgiving. Others there were Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Garrison, Mr. and Mrs. Brian Garrison and twin girls and son. We had a good meal that Brenda fixed, turkey and all the trimmings.
On Thursday we had our monthly dinner with 23 residents and 5 guests that signed our guest book. It was our Thanksgiving dinner for the village.
No other news at this time only for Norma’s adventures on Friday. Naomi Watkins stopped by and I “Norma” went to the farm and stayed all night and back to town Saturday morning as Steven Watkins came to work. On Sunday after church I “Norma” went to the afternoon activities at the Faith Riders Cowboy Church. I enjoyed watching the children with their part of the activities as they did a great job.
Have a good and safe weekend and enjoy your Thanksgiving holiday.
Until next week, Jesus loves you.
