Bub Payne and Brett Stevens seen it while out doing visitations for the revival at Garrison Church. Both young men are deacons at Garrison Church. Sunday John and Connie had their family for dinner honoring Connie and her dad, Junior Halcomb and her daughter-in-law, Patty Siler’s October birthdays. Mt. Olive Church services opened with singing two songs. Scripture reading from Proverbs, chapter 16:1-3. The young people sang. Donna said she loved seeing the young people sing for the Lord. Loren and Hazel Maggard sang . Their song went with Rev. Jerry Loveland’s message from Mark 4:35-41. The church asked Bro. Jerry to pastor the church and he accepted. Jerry and Donna are very excited and we wish them the best. The hayride was well attended. Larry Maggard had a full load of kids and adults. They rode around the mountain. Everyone was ready for hot chocolate, roasted marshmallows and hot dogs. They had a good fire, but they enjoyed going in the church to eat chili and have snacks and get warm. Jerry and Donna and the congregation at Mt. Olive welcome you.
