We came together Wednesday evening singing Christmas carols.
Bro. Jim Lafferty took charge of the service. Prayer requests and praise reports were given. God heard and answers all our concerns. Jim read Ezekiel 12:1-9 and 17:1-10. We are a rebellious nation. We will be judged. God expects our obedience to His word. It’s plain in the word what is right and wrong and how to attain salvation. It has to be God’s way if you want to make Heaven. We had a very good discussion. Everyone had wonderful scriptures and interesting thoughts. Our numbers were up Wednesday evening and we were blessed mightily. We came together this cold crisp Sunday morning singing praises to the Lord. Bro. Jack Essary welcomed all to service. He took prayer requests and praise reports. Sis. Lorrinda Coulter led in prayer. Jack read Hebrews 9:11-15 for our devotion. Jesus has redeemed those that ask for forgiveness.
After Sunday school Happy Birthday was sung to Jerry Kadlubowski.
Praise and Worship began with congregational singing. Special music was by Charlee Lafferty. She blessed us being so young, Melissa Harmon and Ethal Metcalf. Testimony by Hi Lambeth. We were blessed to have visitors today. Pastor Bill Austin spoke from Luke 18:10-11. He spoke about how we are blessed and how we should praise the Lord. He ended service with different ones telling how they were blessed this past year. It sounded like everyone had plenty of blessings. We are all so undeserving.
Sunday evening service began with congregational singing. Pastor Bill welcomed everyone. He took prayer requests and praise reports. Sis. Janice Lafferty led in prayer. Singing tonight was Melba Austin. Bro. Jack Essary was our speaker. Sunday evening He read Psalms 106:1-13. We do not thank God enough for what He does for us. God blesses us with a way through salvation to Heaven. Our most important blessing. We all too soon forget God’s works. We don’t wait on the Lord to see what He’d have us do. Praise the Lord everyday not just on Thanksgiving.
Come worship, you are always welcome.
