That God would also send us showers of blessings.
Caney Church came together Wednesday evening singing and praising the Lord.
Sis. Lorrinda Coulter was our leader this week. Prayer requests and praise reports were given. Sis. Janice Lafferty led in prayer.
Lorrinda read Romans 12:1-21. This chapter is instructions on how to live for Christ. Each verse is a necessary thing for each of us to work on to improve our witness to others. We all have ways that need a touch from the Lord. We always have a very interesting time of study. We would love for more to come. If your church doesn’t meet on Wednesday come be with us. It is a beautiful day to come to Caney Church to praise the Lord. Bro. Jack Essary welcomed everyone to Sunday school and took prayer requests and praise reports. Bro. Etcyl Coulter led in prayer. Jack read Ex. 4:10-16 for our devotion.
After a good Sunday school lesson Happy Birthday was sung to Maddie Shipley and Charlee and Janice Lafferty. God bless them. Maddie Shipley sang the offertory song.
Praise and Worship began with testimonies by Jeff Shipley and Hi Lambeth. We then moved on to singing. Those presenting special music was Jimmy and Charlee Lafferty and Melissa Harmon.
Pastor Bill Austin spoke this morning from Psalms 73:1-28. Satan is trying to oppress us all, but we don’t have to fall or stray from the Lord. If we stand for the Lord He will give us blessings. When we are envious of the world we only have to remember their reward and remember our reward for following Christ. Heaven will be ours. Bill brought a good message from the Lord.
Sunday evening services began with singing praises to the Lord. Bro. Bill took charge of the services. Sis. Lila Roberts led in prayer. Bro. Bill brought his evening message from Matthew 20:1-7, 19:27, Hebrews 4:11 and 6:10.
We need to be laborers for the Lord. God is calling for workers in His fields. Are we answering? We should all work together for the Lord. His reward will be great. This week lets all try to witness and win others to Christ.
A great day in the Lord. Come worship with us. You are always welcome.
