Brother Leon Turner brought the Sunday School lesson this week about Conflict. Even Christians Collide. Please read Luke 10: 38-42. Sometimes we disagree about the most trivial things. These things can fester and lead to big trouble. Sometimes we need to compromise with one another to keep conflict at bay. Don’t let yourself be caught up in trivial issues. Keep your eyes on Christ for resolution to your conflicts. Jesus is there to help you through all life’s struggles. He gives us peace through difficult times. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27 Would you like to have peace? There is no peace comparable to the peace Jesus can give you. Open your heart to Him today and accept His gift of salvation and peace.
Brother Tony DeWeese brought today’s sermon about Being Thankful. Please read 1 Chronicles 16, 34. What do you have to be thankful for today? We don’t need to think of the things that are wrong in our lives, we need to give that to God. We need to be determined to be thankful. We are living in exciting times to be Christians. God gives us a new chance everyday. This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalms 118:24 Anxiety opens the flood gates to a sea of physical problems. The greatest thoughts that your mind will ever have are your thoughts of God. We have a choice of how we will face every day that God gives us. Let’s be thankful for the day He has given us.
Please join us for Sunday School at 10 a.m. and Worship Service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Barry DeWeese.
