The Praise Team did a fine job on Sunday morning with some very moving Praise songs.

Brother Roberts brought the message from Ephesians 4:29-32, ‘Love Your Neighbors.”

The evening service was a remembrance of Lois Weidman, who passed away last week.  Lois was a member of the Walnut Grove Church and a very sweet lady. She will certainly be missed.

On Monday, Delmar and I drove to Fair Grove, where we visited our granddaughters, Summer Johnson and Synthia Bishop, Caidence and Conner Johnson and Donna Bannister then went on to Clinton, MO. and spent the afternoon visiting with Uncle Hugh and Aunt Violet Morris We then spent the night in a motel and visited on Tuesday morning with Herb Morris, Howard and Donna Morris and also, a short time with Uncle Hugh and Aunt Violet Morris. We later drove to Stockton Lake to visit with Frank and Velma Rosseau. We then continued on to Springfield where we purchased paint for an outbuilding.

On Thursday evening we were honored to have as dinner guests, Pete Okhuysen from New Hampshire, Nick Okhuysen from London, England and their sister Pauline Okhuysen from Ava. We enjoyed having them here and the nice visit with them. We talked for quite some time then they went home with their sister to enjoy the evening and then  the three siblings enjoyed the day together on Friday. We are hoping they will come visit again soon.

On Saturday, Becky Carter came down from Nixa  and spent the night with us. I went with her to Mansfield to help decorate the church for the birthday party for her father-in-law, Bill Carter, who turned 90 years young. On Sunday afternoon, Delmar and I attended the party for Bill and he was totally surprised. Good job Becky Carter, you sure did a job of organizing the party for Bill. We later visited with Nora Hunsaker and Lee Williams on Sunday afternoon. On Sunday evening Delmar and I enjoyed a spaghetti and homemade garlic breadsticks at the home of Vern and Kathleen Deatherage.

Other visitors this week were Vern and Kathleen Deatherage and their guest, Florence, from Belgium, Beth Stafford, Johnathon Snelson, Darrell and Mandy Logan and their little bulldog, Nora Hunsaker, Lee Williams, Donna Bannister, Synthia Bishop, Chris Breshears and Shirley Smith.

Until next week be kind to one another and love your neighbor.
