September Sees Both Summer, Fall Temps

The month of September saw both summer and fall temperatures, ranging from 94 to 46 degrees.
At the same time, the month saw limited rainfall, with only 3.75 inches recorded for the month.
Rainfall measuring just .01 inch was reported on Sept. 1, and no more rain would fall here until Sept. 16 when .90 would begin a five-day period of recorded rainfall. The heaviest rainfall recorded in a single day was 1.26 on Sept. 19.
The only other measurable rainfall reported for the month was .48 on Sept. 28.
The warmest day in September was 94 degrees on Sept. 9 and the coolest day was 46 degrees on Sept. 22.
It was 91 degrees on Sept. 12, and that was the last date to record a reading above 90 degrees.
