Our morning service began with Bro. Dale welcoming all with a great good morning. We had many prayer requests with prayer by Bro. Dale. We had pledges to the flags and to the Bible. We sang for Jesus and gave our Sunday school gifts with prayer by Sister Carrie. All classes took their places. Bro. Bob, our leader, used Revelations 3:1-22. It was a very good lesson with class comments and discussion.
We sang for the Lord. We had specials from the congregation. We gave our gifts to the Lord with prayer by Sister Kay. While Bro. Gregg made ready to give us God’s word we had a handshake.
Bro. Gregg prayed and brought the message from Ist Samuel 4:1-5. It was a great message from the Lord. We closed with a song and altar prayer. Bro. Gregg dismissed us with prayer and a blessing on the food. Most of us went to the dining room and enjoyed the great food and fellowship.
The evening service began with the prayer circle. Our circle was quite large tonight. We had circle prayer for all the requests that were made with Bro. Gregg closing it. We then had special prayer for Sister Juanita’s grandson who has been pretty sick. Sister Shirley lead the prayer. We sang for the Lord. We had specials from the congregation which were blessings for all of us.
Bro. Gregg prayed and brought us a good message from the Lord. I used I Corinthians 16:13-21. We closed with a song and prayer led by Sister Patsy.
