Well here on Y highway, we had the first frost of the season, heavy one at that or at least at Huffman Storage.
Sunday morning service we had so many prayer requests. God hears every one and in his own time and knows the need before we ever voice them.
Our prayers and heartfelt condolensces go out to the Conrad family on the loss of their loved one.
Brother Gary’s morning message was Isaiah 57:15 having compassion, having a humble and contrite spirit, do all of us have enough of these, always by guilt for things done, said and things we should have said? Do we have sincere penitence?
Psalms 34:18, “The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.”
Sunday evening was third Sunday night singing.
We had a glorious singing and a good time. We had great music by Don Nash, Billy Graham and Cody Marriott. We had guitars, dobros, fiddle, a champion fiddler by the way. We are very proud of our musicians.
We also have a piano player who is not only great on the piano, but writes songs and has a terrific voice.
Come see us at the church of the Living God. We have some great people who go there and some beautiful church babies.
We are located on the corner of N.W. 6th Ave. and N.W. 7th St.
Our pastor is Gary Moore and he can be reached by calling his cell phone 543-3785 or his home 683-6547 or by calling his wife, Bevy 683-8106.
