Fall is here, what a beautiful time of the year.
God blesses us with the wonderful fall foilage you can enjoy in the Ozarks.
Here we are the last Sunday in September. To me this month has flown by.
God hears all of our prayer requests and handles them in His time and in His power. I am thankful His memory is limitless.
Pastor Gary made a statement at the beginning of his morning message that really caught my attention, “Know what we believe and why we believe it.” Pastor’s text was from Acts 10:1. He preached from the beginning to probably the sixteenth verse.
There are so many wonderful thoughts in these verses. Cornelius was a devout man who feared God. In his vision he was instructed to do certain things. He didn’t complain and ask, why, he carried out the instructions. Peter is from verse 9 on. A lesson here to be learned is crucial. Peter was told by God, What God hath cleansed that call not thou unclean.”
Through the blood of Jesus, when we accept it, we are cleansed, our past is wiped away. If God can forgive and forget, why can’t we? I knew that person when he did such and such, call them not common.
Prayers are our life line between our Lord and us. We need to use and always keep it open.
