Wednesday evening service began singing praises to the Lord.
Sister Lorrinda Coulter took the service taking prayer requests/praise reports. Sister Janice Lafferty led in prayer.
Sister Lorrinda read I Peter 1:23, 2:1-24 and Revelations 3:20. This scripture tells us how to live before others as a witness to Christ staying in God’s will is so important. A good thought and study, we had a great time studying the word if only the world could hear and learn more importantly accept Christ as their Savior.
On this glorious Sunday morning, we met at Caney to worship the Lord. Bro. Jack Essary welcomed all to the service, prayer requests/praise reports received, Sister Lorrinda led in prayer. Jack read John 4:1-15 for our devotion, wonderful salvation message.
Praise/worship began with testimonies from Jeff Shipley, Sharon Withrow and Melba Austin.
We moved onto congregational singing and special music was presented by Melissa Harmon.
Pastor Bill Austin spoke this morning from Genesis 3:9, Ezekiel 3:17-18, Pastor asked, “Where do you stand with the Lord?” We need to take inventory of our self and see the wrath of God is coming to those that don’t know God. We should be telling others of the wrath of God and not just His love. We will not go to heaven if we don’t believe and accept Jesus into our hearts; we have to try to live the Bible as best as we can a very thoughtful message.
We are blessed to have God called men to stand before us.
We were so blessed to have visitors this Sunday, please come again.
Sunday evening service began with singing, Bro. Jeff Shipley welcomed everyone. We have so many concerns God is sure to answer. Bro. Hi Lambeth led us in a humble prayer.
Testimony was given from Melba Austin.
Bro. Jack Essary was the speaker Sunday night; his scripture was II Timothy 3:1-7, 15-17 and I Peter 1:13-25. Times are bad but when you have hope in Christ you can face tomorrow, God has made a way for us to go to heaven if we follow His way. Money and good deeds won’t get us to heaven; only through the blood of Christ will we get there. He is the same yesterday, today and forever, never changing.
Let’s all go out and tell others about the Lord.
