It was a beautiful day to worship and there were many prayer requests made known for our church family, friends, the unsaved, our nation’s leaders, and the bereaved. Even though we are small, we are mighty in spirit.
Brother Ric preached a message he had prepared a few weeks back, however, God had other plans, so we got it this week. Nina read a devotion, sent by her sister, also.

This is a busy time in our part of the country, lots of festivals going on, for one thing and another, lots of fun.
Jo Stephens was seeing her doctor, Monday, and surgery seems to be the next step for her, possibly in a few weeks. Kay Hutchison visited Jo and Johnny, Thursday afternoon, they have quite a few visitors.
Logan Elliott spent Friday with Tom and Jewell Elliott, he was under the weather and missed school. Shaun and LeAnna and MaKayla came later to take him home. James Elliott also visited the group Friday night.
Ronnie and Pat Lansdown, Kenneth and Carla Aborn took in some of the celebrations going on, Apple Festival and Hootin and Hollarin and report a good time. They also met Casey Guerin and two girls at the Apple Festival, and had a good visit with them.
Jewell Elliott received a call from her cousin, Pauline McGraw, of Fort Payne, AL. letting her know Jewell’s Aunt Lucy had fallen and was in the hospital with a broken hip, our best to her.
Martin Hathcock visited Harold and Kay Hutchison, Monday afternoon.
Ronnie and Pat Lansdown were in West Plains, Tuesday, to join other relatives, helping grand-daughter, Kaylee celebrate her 12th birthday. Pat has been helping Myrl with her household chores and grocery shopping. Paul and Jeanne also come to check on Myrl, often.
Kristy Tackett celebrated her birthday, September 20, by having the day off work. She received lots of well wishes by Facebook and text. She and daughter, Stephanie, spent from Friday afternoon until Sunday afternoon, with Harold and Kay Hutchison. Jeff Tackett rode his motorcycle down Friday evening, then went on to Arkansas Saturday morning.
Kristy, Stephanie and Kay attended the Grower’s Market, did some shopping and attended Molasses Making at the Stillings’, later. Jayne Clark Nash joined them at Stillings and spent the rest of the weekend at the Hutchison’s. Steph attended Mt. Tabor Church with her grandma, Kay.
