First Annual MOTO Show Comes To Town

Ava Pride Band Boosters will be hosting their First Annual MOTO Show Saturday, Sept. 28, from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Ava Performing Arts Center parking lot.  With 10 competitive classes ranging from vintage cars to tractors, there should be something for everyone.

Prizes will be given for first and second place in all categories (except display class).  A trophy will also be awarded for Best of Show.

Pre-registration of cars for competition is $15; registration will be $20 the day of show.

The event will also feature a display class for enthusiasts who would like to show off their favorite vehicle. Entry fee for the display class is $12.

In the mood to trade up?  For a fee of $12, owners may park their car in the Car Corral for interested buyers to view.  Entries of Ava High School students will be $10 per category.  The first fifty entrants will receive a dash plaque, a t-shirt and a goodie bag  filled with items from area businesses sponsoring the car show!

Along with KKOZ broadcasting live, there will be entertainment featuring the band students and possibly area performers.

And, there will be door prize drawings, concessions and plenty of “facilities” on hand for the day.

The Ava Pride Band Boosters fundraise throughout the year to assist Ava Pride Band with a $1,000 scholarship for a graduating senior, provide meals for band members on competition days, assist in defraying uniform costs when possible and other expenses as they arise.
