Wednesday evening we came together at Caney Church to study God’s word and praise Him.
Service began with congregational singing. Bro. Hi Lambeth was our leader this week. He took prayer requests and praise reports. We have lots of concerns. Sis. Lila Roberts led in prayer. Bro. Hi read Ezekiel 36:25-38, 37:15-22. It is so good to know that God can restore and rebuild and He can take nothing and make something special. What great things God can do. We have such a good time studying and trying to learn more of God’s word. We wish the whole world would know the Lord and study and live His word. The way people are living today, you would think hell has been air conditioned.
Sunday school opened with praising the Lord in song. Bro. Jack Essary welcomed all, especially Bro. Bobby Combs. He is a blessing to our church. Bro. Jack took prayer requests and praise reports. We have many concerns. Bro. Hi Lambeth led us in prayer. Jack read Deuteronomy 30:11-20 for our devotion. Let’s all choose life.
After a good Sunday school lesson we sang Happy Birthday to Hi Lambeth. God bless him. Maddie Shipley sang while offering was received. She is a good singer and a joy to have in our church.
Praise and Worship hour began with testimonies from Jeff Shipley, Vanessa Mills, Janice Lafferty and Bobby Combs. We then moved on to congregational singing. Special music by Melissa Harmon. Pastor Bill Austin read Matthe 13:24-30 and Acts 20:28-31. Let’s be careful that we don’t sleep so that the devil can sneak in and destroy. The devil is trying to tear down the word of God. We are nearing the last days. We can see the signs of the times. Awake and be ready to meet Christ. It was a message from the throne.
Saw this on a sign, what a good thought, “What part of ‘Thou shall not’ don’t you understand.”
Caney met Sunday evening to praise the Lord. Bro. Jeff Shipley took charge of the service by taking prayer requests and praise reports. Sis. Lorrinda Coulter led us in prayer. Testimonies were given by Lorrinda Coulter, Janice Lafferty and Melba Austin. Pastor Bill spoke again this evening. He used scripture Psalms 27:13-14 and 31:19 for his message. Trust in the Lord. He will supply our needs. Whatever we are going through, He will be there for us. Don’t lose hope, look and see what He has done for you. Don’t turn away from the Lord. Search your heart and seek the Lord. Testify of the goodness of the Lord.
Come worship with us at Caney, you are welcome.
