On Sunday, Sept. 8, there were around 70 family members and friends gathered at the Ava City Park for the 28th annual Breshears-Hylton Reunion.
Joe Allen Breshears was spokesman for the day. Cole Breshears asked the blessing before the pot luck dinner was served.
Gifts were presented to the eldest lady, Nancy Breshears; eldest man, Ronnie Breshears; youngest child, Tekarian Sharp; newly-weds, Preston and Lisa Breshears; and coming farthest, Tony and Cindy Ullrich. Several door prizes were awarded and all the kids got goodie bags. The guessing games were enjoyed by all.

Everyone enjoyed visiting and sharing stories from the past. All the kids played together on the playground and with the kittens.
