Sharon called meeting to order.  Pat read the minutes and gave the treasurers report.  Both were approved.

Arrowheads voted on at last meeting will be picked up soon.  We are still waiting on answer from Community Betterment committee. Andrew will give us estimate on fixing eaves.  Our new sign is up and looks great.  We appreciate everyone involved for help.

Still need stories for Winter Journal.  Possible stories discussed were stories on street names, the 11 springs and Hartley Barber Shop owned by Joe Dennis Hartley.

Special display case was discussed and it was decided to leave dolls for another month, October will be Halloween, November thanksgiving, December Christmas, January snowmen, and February will be Valentines Days.

We had a handmade belt buckle donated possibly from Civil War era.  Marilyn is looking for information on it.  The different sale barns were discussed.

Question of the month:  Where did the gypsy’s camp when they came to town in the 1930’s?  We know they sold eggs to the hatchery across from Barnes shopping center.

JD made a motion to Adjourn. It was seconded by Sally.  Those attending were, Sharon Sanders, Sally Hicks, Marilyn Alms, Pat Carmichael, J D Ross, and Jack and Barbara Breshears.
