Ken and Debbie Cederlind attended a wedding at Rogersville Saturday and after it was over they came to Ava and spent the night with her mother, Bonnie Phipps and then Sunday they went to church and Ken, Debbie, Bonnie and Cecilia ate dinner and in the afternoon Roy and Linda Sue Freeman, Lonnie and Pamela Crim, Logan, Alexa and Paola, Matt Freeman and three sisters, Madison, Sydnee and Alexis, Moe and Kaylynn Todd and Alaya all came to Bonnie’s house and had homemade ice cream.
I had little Jett four days last week and last Monday John stopped by for a minute.
Last Tuesday evening I took my eggs to Donna and then I went with Tom and Mary Martha Williams, Doris Morrison and Carol Moore to Houston to their O.E.S. Friendship Night and they had a good turn out for it.
Kay Hutchison picked up my news that morning and she brought me some cucumbers too.
My neighbor, Jimmie Posey, passed away that day and then on Wednesday they told me that Judy Phillips died.
Carol Moore and Doris Morrison went to Mountain Grove Wednesday to the Tea Party at the Sunny Side Café where they told who would be our new District Deputy Grand Matron for the coming year and it will be Mary Martha Williams.
Dennis Posey and Mike came over and picked up some bread for the family, then later on Jewell Elliott stopped by.
Mark and James were here Thursday and when James left he took little Jett home with him for the day so he could have time with his grandson.
Friday I took eggs to the girls at the courthouse and then I went to Evelyn Bryan’s and when I left she gave me some green beans to give to Freeda Richards so I took them to her and we talked and talked until I had to come home, but she was real proud of those beans.
Saturday I attended Jimmie Posey’s funeral and then I went by and visited with Marie Dickey’s as I was leaving I spoke to some of the other ladies who were eating their supper. Kendra came by that evening to help me with my new phone, it was good visiting with her.
Sunday after church Ruby Smith came by and had dinner with me and then she showed me three of her quilts that she had quilted and they were beautiful. It was good seeing her.
Lets keep all our sick folks in our prayers, some of them will be going to see their doctor this week.
My prayers and sympathy goes out to all who have lost a loved one. There are too many to name.
Lets keep our leaders and the men and women in the service and their families and the ones in training in our prayers.
