Courtnie Vigessa, Weslie and Wayden came to Ava Wednesday to see her grandmother, Bonnie Phipps, and Wendee Freeman, Madison, Sydnee and Alexis came over and with Bonnie they all headed to Branson where they went to Pamela Crim’s and visited all day and when they got back to Ava Courtnie and the boys went home with Wendee and stayed all night and then went back to Springfield to her mother’s home.

Little Wylie stayed with Grandpa Ken on the farm and had a ball. They went arrow hunting and he found some and his eyes got big. Wylie will be 6 come this Friday.

Courtnie and boys left for North Dakota Saturday and I bet he had lots to tell his Daddy when they reached home.

Last Monday I received .2 of an inch of rain and that is all for the whole week.

Mary Martha Williams, Doris Morrison, Carol Moore and Hellen Blakey all went to Plato to their O.E.S. Friendship Night and had a wonderful time.

I took my news and eggs in last Tuesday.

Late Wednesday afternoon I went over and saw Marie Dickey and went to Wal-Mart before I went to John and Jo Stephens and I stayed with Jo until John went to Bible Study.

Tara brought Jett over Thursday morning and I hadn’t seen him for a few weeks and he seems to be glad to be back at Granny Hellen’s again. Monica Reemes came up that evening and took me to Ruby Garden for supper and while we were there, Ellis came and visited with us while we were eating.

I went back to John and Jo’s Friday for a while and helped a little before coming home.

Saturday I baked two cakes and took them down to the church where I met Nina Carter and she took them down to the Pig Roast for the Goodhope Fire Dept. then on my way back home I stopped by Evelyn’s and visited with her.

Sunday afternoon I went over and saw Marie Dickey and Wanda Huffman came in for a while and when I left I took a book that Marie had borrowed from John Haskins and took it back to him and he had a visitor named, David Dye. I told him I remembered his mother because she use to work for Dr. Harlan.

Let’s keep all those sick folks in our prayers.

My prayers and sympathy go out to all who have lost a loved one.

Keep our leaders and the men and women in the service and their families and the ones in training in your prayers. Steve came over this week and mowed my yard and then I got out Saturday evening and did what his mower couldn’t get to.
