Sandy Church News

Connie Johnson prayed our beginning prayer for our nation, our church and so many who need healing followed by singing.  Food harvest items were collected for Heart of the Hills Food Harvest.  A thank you card was read from Bill Mathews and girls.  Keep them in your prayers..  Sunday, July 14th is our monthly fellowship dinner after church.  Monday, July 15th through the 19th will be Bible School each evening at 6 p.m.  Supper will be served.

Jeff Humbyrd prayed the offertory prayer as he and Van Menzies received our Lord’s tithes and offerings with LeaAnn Crum at the piano.

Testimonies were given praising our Good Lord and that He truly is.  Danny Johnson led us in song followed by a handshaking time.  Pastor Neal shared how the Lord led them in ministry on their camping trip last week.  When their car broke down, they were in a home where people needed some encouragement so badly and they shared Jesus.  He read from John 4, Jesus at Jacob’s well.  He met the woman of Samaria.  Jesus said, “Give me to drink; If you knew you would ask of Him and He would have given living water”.  There is so much to be done.  Let us lift up our eyes and see the needs.

At 6 p.m., Pastor Neal prayed followed by singing and testifying.  Peggy Miller read a reading and Lea Ann and Erin Crum did the special music.

Pastor Neal shared “A time of remembrance” of Independence Day.  It is good for us to look back and see how our Nation began and to realize how far from God we have come.

Special prayer meeting is each Tuesday at 7 p.m. and Bible study each Wednesday at 7 p.m.  Sunday school is at 10 a.m. and worship service at 11 am.  Come and be with us.  You are welcome in our Lord’s house.
