Last Wednesday (22), my Uncle Earl Johnston from Burns, Oregon came with his brother, J.R. and wife Janet of Mountain Grove for a visit. They stopped in on other relatives also.
Over Memorial weekend, Eddie and Linda Sears guests were Dan and Sug Norviel from Hickory Ridge, Arkansas.
Monday and Tuesday night, Wyatt and Liviya Wharton got to stay with their grandparents, Ralph and Dana Brazeal.
Tuesday evening Gary and I went to Theodosia. While we were there we visited with Vic and Jean Plant.
Wednesday afternoon, Gary and I went to Ava where Gary helped our son-in-law, Paul Johnson in cutting some small trees down. Later we visited his mother, Maxine Turner.
Thursday night, Eddie and Linda Sear grandson, Zach and friend stayed the night. Eddie and the boys went fishing Friday, no fish could they catch.
The Lord God has blessed us with a lot more rain these past few nights. Praise God for His protection while He sent the storms across this land.
Last Sunday at the Hicks Cemetery my cousin, Harold Clayton and Margene were there. He hadn’t been down for four years due to his health problems. They visited with Bill and Juanita Mahan family after our meeting that day.
The air is now filled with the noise of the cicada.
Our Fifth Sunday Meeting this month will be at True Hope Church in Theodosia Friday night and Saturday.
