Sunday morning service was opened with music, prayer requests and prayer.

Brother Claude Robertson brought a beautiful special for us.

Brother Roberts brought the message from II Timothy 3:1-5, “Edify One Another Until I Come.”

Sunday evening, Brother Randy and Sister Venita Brummet gave us a beautiful special song.

Brother Roberts brought a short devotion from II Kings 3-9.

Arriving at the home of Bob and Nora Edwards on Friday, May 31st were her sisters, Betty Cazzell, Mosby, MO., Georgia Gillham, Kansas City, MO., and friend, Waunita Felts of K.C., MO. They all attended the Phipps-Cunningham reunion on Saturday.

On Sunday the three sisters and friend went to Branson and stayed until Thursday evening. They enjoyed seeing music shows and shopping. When they came home on Thursday evening they were surprised to find Nora’s nephew from Sugarland, Texas had come to help them celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. On Saturday, other family and friends from Excelsior Springs, Mosby, Peculiar, Independence, Liberty, Mtn. Grove, Ava, Chadwick, Chestnutridge, Lebanon, and Tennessee joined them at the Walnut Grove Church for the anniversary party. Several of the relatives spent Saturday night and Sunday with Bob and Nora, Toby and Jacinda and Kendra Walker. Nora reports that it was a great weekend and appreciates everyone for coming and all the calls, cards, gifts and good wishes and most of all their daughter and family for bringing it all together for a day that will never be forgotten.

Visiting Jerry and Suanne Sutherland at various times during the last week were CloElla Leverenz and Ann Conley of Springfield, Dianna, Cassidy, and Caitlyn Bernhard of Springfield, Nora Edwards of Ava, and Charlene Luallen, Pam, Alex, Nicholas and Bailey Pistos of Millington, Tennessee.
