Our devotional reading was Psalms 92, a song of prayers. Prayer requests were shared for Jaylin, Judy, Carol, our leaders, our nation and our Lord’s service. Doyle Humbyrd prayed this prayer.
After singing, happy birthday was sung to Lindsey Boyd and happy anniversary was sung to Phillip McFarlin.
Van and Cody Menzies received our Lord’s tithes and offerings. Van prayed the offertory prayer.
A report of Senior High Camp was given by Juanita Menzies with 55 campers attending. Testimonies were given praising our God.
Pastor Neal prayed and read from Deuteronomy 6 and II Samuel, King David was not where he should have been. Let us be holy in all manner of conversation. He asked us three questions: (1) How are you doing? (2) Who are you living for? And (3) What about your walk? Let us stay where we should be. A fellowship dinner was shared at noon.
At 6 p.m., we began with singing. Prayer requests were shared for Junior High Camp this week. Pastor Neal and LeaAnn are Directors. Pastor Neal is also the evangelist. Rhonda Dobbs, Kevin Hodges, Kendra Harris, Cody Menzies, Ashton Crum and Sean Templeton are helping this week at camp. Abby, Avery and Katie are campers. Some from our church helped with lunch on Wednesday and breakfast on Thursday morning.
Brother Van Menzies preached on the hands of Jesus. He read from Matthew and Luke. With a strong hand, he brings us out with stretched out loving hands.
Next Sunday we will be going to the Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center at 2 p.m. It will be our baby bottle collections for Options Pregnancy Clinic and Father’s Day.
Tuesday at 7 p.m. is special prayer meeting and Wednesday is Bible study on prayer for without it we can do nothing.
