Red Bud News

A good morning to all our friends, neighbors and our readers. We hope everyone had a safe and good weekend and stayed cool in the heat.

We send get-well wishes to all the sick, the ones in the hospitals and the nursing homes. May you be up and about real soon is our wish for you.

Our sympathy to all who have lost loved ones. May God bless you in your time of sorrow. Our thoughts are with you.

We send greetings to all who have a birthday at this time. May you have have a great day with many more to come.

On Thursday last week we had our monthly dinner with the Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare fixing and serving our dinner for all of us. Our hats are off to the nice ladies who fixed and served our meal. We had 17 residents who signed our guest book with three guests who attended. I am sure there has been some activities going on in the village, but none that I am aware of.

On Friday afternoon Steven and children and Norma attended the B.A.C.A. program at the Foxtrotters area. While there we met with Arlen “Bud” Watkins and family, also got to see the new great granddaughter that was born June 12th in Arkansas to Ronald and Shey Watkins. Then Sunday afternoon the family met at the upper park to visit and see the new baby that was named Kalyn Faye Watkins. The afternoon was spent having a cookout. Then a water balloon toss or some call a fight. About everyone got wet. What a way to spend the afternnon on a hot day.

We send birthday wishes to all who have a big day at this time. Have a great day with many more to come is our wish for you. Have  a good week, stay cool and check on your neighbors or shut-ins.

Until next week, Jesus loves you.
