Hello from our home to your home, greetings to everyone. Monday started off as a bright sunshine day and may our spirits be as bright as the day. Residents are now doing morning exercise, everyone is moving and a grooving. Since I broke my hip it is a painful process for me. I do spend about thirty minutes in the therapy gym most days. Yesterday I walked behind my wheelchair outside in the sunshine. It was a beautiful day. Our shrubs and flowers are at their most beautiful just now.
Many visitors thronged the halls over the weekend. Betty Jenkins and her sister were making the rounds. They know so many of the
residents and bring joy and news to all as they visit and they visit often, regularly.
Last week the churches from Bradleyville were here singing the old songs and Bro. Jack Clemens brought a devotional. We enjoyed all the visiting after the service. Larry Moore was here for Sunday School and in the afternoon it was the Ava Assembly of God who ministered to us. Bro. Larry Moore also led that service. We always enjoy the music that they bring.
Bro. Garry Hall was here Monday morning playing and singing gospel music for us. There was a large turnout. Amanda Mayberry and her boys, Jake and Joe called games for us in the afternoon.
It is getting time for our 28th Annual 4th of July Celebration on June 28th. If your church, group or club would like to have a booth please call Connie at 683-4129.
We would like to welcome Eula Campbell to our home. Our prayers and sympathy go out to the family of Taylor Hale, who had been a resident here at our home.
God Bless You From Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center in Ava, MO.
