Happy Home Church was a very busy place this past weekend. We had a wedding in the afternoon which I am sure God blessed. Our singing was Saturday night and we had a great crowd praising God with the beautiful music with food and fellowship that followed it all. If you didn’t join us you missed a real blessing. Put it on your calendar for the fourth Saturday night of the month and we will see you at the next singing at Happy Home Church.
Our morning service began with Bro. Dale greeting all with a great good morning. We had prayer requests with Bro. Bob leading in prayer. We had our pledges to the flags and to the Bible. We sang for the Lord.
Our Sunday school leader, Sister Mary, brought the lesson from Jude 1:3-21. We had prayer and a good lesson with good class discussion. Our young ones gathered up the Coins For Christ gifts. We had a good group today. We sang Happy Birthday and it was time to sing. The choir was in good voice. We gave our gifts to the Lord with prayer. Specials were sang and Bro. Gregg brought the morning message. It was a good message from the Lord. We were blessed to see a young man give his heart and life to the Lord. Dominic Gustin, age 12 is a new brother in Christ. His father, Dee Gustin, gave his heart and life to the Lord a few weeks ago…Dee, Stacy, Dominic are now a complete family in the Lord. Praise the Lord what a blessing. We had a song and a handshake and then dismissed with prayer.
Our evening service began with our prayer circle. We had many prayer requests. Prayer was led by Bro. Gregg. We sang for the Lord and had specials from Sister Peggy, Bro. Dale and Sister Patsy. Bro. Gregg asked us all to tell of Bible school memories. There were some good memories from the congregation. Some heart touching and some laughable. Praise God for the memories. We discussed our Bible school, which is coming up Monday, June 3rd-June 7th each evening, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend. It sounds like fun will be had by everyone. We closed the service with prayer.
Have a great week, keep God in your heart and you will be blessed.
