Bonnie Phipps said that after church Michael and Wendee Freeman, Matt, Madison, Sydnee and Alexis, Bonnie Phipps, Cecilia Edwards, Roy and Linda Freeman and Roy’s brother and his wife, Dennis and Teresa Freeman all went to Theodosia to Cookie’s Restaurant and ate dinner and then they went for a drive before coming back to Ava.
Tara brought Jett over last Monday and Thursday and his other grandmother, Lori Coonce, will have him and it will give me a break for the summer.
Tyler Cornett graduated from the eighth grade at Plainview School last Monday, but I didn’t make it.
I took my news and eggs in last Tuesday and went by Ava Drug before coming home.
I planted four tomato plants that evening before I went to Skyline School to watch my grandson, Mark Weston Blakey, graduate from the eighth grade.
Wednesday by 10 p.m. I had .6 of an inch of rain in my rain gauge and then .1 of an inch of rain the next morning.
Thursday I baked a cake and made some bread for the bake sale that the Piland Youth Camp had Saturday. That evening Violet came by and picked up her eggs.
Kay Hutchison came by Friday and picked up my baked goods and I mowed my yard that day, but didn’t get it all cut.
James, Kristie and Lakota came by Saturday morning on their way to KC to see their daughter, Brittany Kutz, graduate from college. Sherry and Mark Weston came by later that day and brought me some eggs.
On my way to church I stopped and gave Ruth Shumate a card and giftt for her birthday.
Lets keep our sick folks in our prayers . Some are getting better, but some have a long way to go.
My prayers and sympathy go out to all the ones who have lost a loved one.
