After church Bonnie said that Ken and Debbie Cederlind, Moe and Kaylynn Todd and Alaya came down to Roy and Linda Sue Freeman’s and the others that met them there were Bonnie Phipps, Cecilia Edwards, Wendee Freeman, Matt, Madison, Sydnee and Alexis and Wendee’s cousin and wife who was in visiting. They all gathered there for Mother’s Day dinner. Bonnie said that her granddaughter, Courtnie Vigessa had another boy named Wayden and he was born in April.
I was told that Naida Hartley had a birthday, May 10, and she turned 95 so Happy Birthday, Naida!
Tara brought Jett over last Monday and that evening Justin came with Tara to pick him up and while he was here he tore one of my dead stumps down and hauled it off for me. I sure appreciated it.
I went on over to my O.E.S. meeting.
I took my news in last Tuesday and then went down and got some eggs at Mark’s. That evening the O.E.S. ladies served the Mason their supper before their meeting.
Wednesday I cut some of my grass and then later on I went by the nursing home and saw Marie Dickey and took her a piece of cake then I went on over to Martin Hathcock’s and gave him some cake, strawberries and a loaf of bread for his birthday.
Tara brought Jett by Thursday and later on that afternoon Evelyn Bryan stopped by and picked up some eggs and Tara and Justin picked Jett up and I went down to the four-way stop and met Tom and Mary Martha Williams, Doris Morrison, Carol Moore, Richard Bakey and we all went to Theodosia O.E.S. meeting and helped them initiate a lady into their chapter. Thursday I received .1 of an inch of rain and .5 of an inch of rain on Friday.
Friday at 10 I went over to the school and presented the Michael Blakey Scholarship to Jeremy Duncan who wasn’t there so Allison Decker accepted it for him. I came back by the nursing home and visited with some of the people there.
Tara and Justin gave Jett an early birthday party Saturday evening so I went over there and ate supper with them and then Jett opened his gifts and then he blew out the candles and we ate cake and ice cream. Jett will be 2 on the 20th. Sunday I stopped at Lloyd and Ruth’s and picked up two of their great-granddaughters and took them to church with me.
I went to Mark and Sherry’s and ate supper with them and Dustin and Kelsey Seaborn, Dwayne and Lora Kay Davis and Mark Weston. I got calls from all my children and my grandson, Johnathan Blakey, wishing me a Happy Mother’s Day.
I talked with Linda Perry and she said her knee was doing just fine.
Lets keep praying for all the sick folks and our church families that are sick.
My sympathy and prayers go out to all that have lost a loved one.
Lets keep our leaders and the men and women in the service and their families and the ones in training in our prayers.
