We appreciate the pastor and Eastern Gate Missionary Baptist Church for their gracious donation.  May God continue to bless you!

The Mayo Clinic says there is a correct time to drink water, as it maximizes its effectiveness on the body.  Two glasses of water after waking up helps activate internal organs.  One glass of water 30 minutes before a meal helps digestion; one glass of water before taking a bath helps lower blood pressure and one glass of water before going to bed avoids stroke or heart attack.  It will also help prevent night time leg cramps.

We are still needing volunteers to deliver meals.  If you can assist us with one day a week, we want you to come in and talk to Bonnie.  We will show you the route and introduce you to the homebound.

The Jam Session continues to be a huge success.  Monday night was our largest attendance so far—three shy of 100.  Good music, good songs, good snacks, good place to be!  If you have yet to join us, please come down and give us a try.

Until next week, have a good one!
