Sunday morning service was opened with prayer requests and prayer then a short video. The Praise Team led us in some beautiful songs of praise.

Brother Roberts brought the message from Luke 23:32-33, “Calvary.”

The A team won the contest we were having at Walnut Grove, but the C team ran a very close second and then there was the B team. What can I say?. It was fun for all teams really and we will all be enjoying a fish fry for our efforts. Good Job, team leaders for a job well done.

Sunday evening was dismissed due to weather.

Delmar and I visited with my mom, Nora Hunsaker and Lee Williams and had lunch with them. We met with Donna Bannister, Jack and Barb Breshears for breakfast at McDonalds one morning. I rode into town and back with Stacie, Mahayla, Miley and Lucas Hamby. They are such a joy to be around. Bevy Moore came down one evening and brought her guitar and we played music until my fingers were sore.

We certainly will be glad when the weather gets a little warmer. It seems colder to me now than when I was a kid.

We visited one afternoon with Gary and Bevy Moore, Beth Stafford, Johnathon Snelson, Mandy Logan and Norman and Maxine Rosseau. I have talked to Aunt Violet Morris several times and they are doing about the same.

I have been sewing quilt tops and getting ready to have them quilted. I love to see the finished products. Pretty quilts just seem to spruce up a bed.

We were saddened for our neighbor’s loss when their little dog they had for eight years got attacked and killed.

Until next week stay safe, warm and happy.
