Brad Siler, our Sunday School Superintendent, began with us standing to read our devotional from Psalms 91. Prayer requests were shared and Doyle Humbyrd prayed this prayer followed by singing.
Happy anniversary was sung to Stan and Kim Humbyrd, who are celebrating 30 years.
We were dismissed to our classes until 11 a.m. when we came back together. Danny Johnson led the offertory prayer as he and Stan Humbyrd received our Lord’s tithes and offerings. This was followed by a handshaking, friendly time.
Pastor Neal shared Psalms 100:4, “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and unto his courts with praise.” Be thankful unto Him and bless his name.
Testimonies were given blessing his name and prayer requests were shared. Pastor Neal prayed this prayer and read from II Chronicles 29, revival under Hezekiah. The temple was cleansed and prepared for worship. He ask us to be faithful in our upcoming service this Passion Week quoting, “My sons be not negligent for the Lord has chosen you to stand before Him and to serve Him.”
At 2 p.m., a group from church went to the Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center for a service there. It was good to be with the people there. After singing, Pastor Neal shared the word and they responded by also sharing with him.
At 6 p.m., Pastor Neal prayed followed by singing and testimonies. There was special music by Danny Johnson and Abby Dobbs and LeaAnn and Erin Crum.
Van Menzies shared and ask for prayer for his co-worker and her husband, who are going to Dallas, Texas for cancer surgery.
He read from Matthew 5, the parable of the talents. Two servants took what God gave them and were faithful and one servant hid his Lord’s money. He was not faithful. He lost his reward and his soul. So let us be faithful.
Friday night, the 22nd, is family night at church beginning at 6 p.m. with pizza and special services for the kids and adults.
Sunday night, the 24th, will be a Passover meal at 6 p.m.
Each Wednesday is Bible study at 7 p.m. and each Tuesday at 7 p.m. is prayer meeting.
Monday night, the 25th, at 7 p.m. is the beginning of Passover week services each evening with Bro. Randy Dalton as the evangelist. Come and worship with us.
