After opening prayer and singing to start our morning service we were taught in our Sunday school lesson the privilege of serving others. Jesus was always teaching that to his disciples. Sometimes Jesus’ life situations often left them speechless.
The church enjoyed some special songs by Al Jenkins and Phyllis Swofford and appreciate them for coming. Due to the weather many were missing from church.
March 31st, we are having an Easter Sunrise Service at 7 a.m. with Bro. Rodney Brown as the guest speaker then breakfast afterwards. Around 9 a.m. we will have an egg hunt for the children. Sunday school at 10 a.m. and Bro. Bob Husky will be bringing our morning message. Everyone is invited to come and worship with us on this glorious Easter morning where Jesus is alive and with us always.
Bro. Huskey’s morning message was from Mark, chapter 15. Jesus was arrested and accused of many things, was delivered up to be crucified and still said Father forgive them. He died for our sins and has risen to give us hope.
Sunday evening service was dismissed due to the weather. Remember all the prayer requests.
Please attend Gentry or a church of your choice this coming Easter Sunday. Jesus can change your life.
There will be no service the Sunday night of Easter so we can attend the Fifth Sunday Singing at Breedon starting at 6 p.m.
