Have you ever seen the extreme couponing shows on TV? Wish you knew how they do that? While expecting to pay such low amounts for hundreds of dollars’ worth of items is a bit unrealistic, savings are there for the taking when it comes to couponing! With a bit of time and planning you too can experience the satisfaction of saving money on items you regularly purchase.
Coupon College – Couponing In the Real World! will be presented by Douglas County University of Missouri Extension on Monday, March 11, 6 to 8:30 p.m., at the Ava VFW, located across the street from the Ava Post Office, 400 West Washington Avenue.

Along with couponing basics, other topics will include: finding coupons, stockpiling, store policies and how they relate to couponing and organizing. Myrna Stark, MU Food and Nutrition Program Associate will also present Plan, Shop, Save! which will provide tips on how to plan your grocery shopping.
