Wednesday evening service was by Bro. Alberto. He spoke about our duty to continue on with a new convert, don’t leave them alone in their new found faith. Show them the word, be a mentor unto them. The experience is new and unfamiliar, guide them.
Sunday morning reading was by Norma J. from Psalms 13:1-6, blessed is the man that walketh not in the Counsel of the ungodly. Read the rest of the passage, it’s a good plan to use in our everyday walk.
Prayer requests were many: Hervel P., Becky, Linda R. and all her family, Bevy, unspoken, Uncle Floyd, our leaders need to be held up every time we pray. They need to open their eyes.
The morning message was on the death of Lazarus, John 1-36. Martha said to Jesus, verse 21, Lord if thou hadst been here my brother would not have died.
What is so hard to understand, everything is in God time, not ours. There was a reason for Lazarus’s death to bring glory unto the Lord. We think on the here and now not in the here after.
“Praise God” for those wonderful words, verse 43, “Lazarus Come Forth.”
One day, those that have had the blood applied to their lives shall also hear “Children Come Forth.”
Sunday evening was our customary third singing Sunday service. There were many beautiful specials and several testimonies. We had a guitar solo by Billy Graham and Bevy, very good and a wonderful surprise, more, more.
Come see us at the corner of N.W. 6th Ave. and N.W. 7th St.
We are a full gospel church, believe the Bible is true from Genesis through Revelations.
