Bro. Stanley Jones brought the morning and evening message today. Morning message: Isaiah 53: 7-9. “Christ showed us his undying love for us through his suffering and his patience. He suffered greatly both physically and mentally for each of us. He did this willingly- he sacrificed both his life and his dignity”. Bro. Stanley said you could hear him say, ‘I LOVE YOU’ as he died for us. Bro. Stanley explained how he could give up a lot of things in this life, for example his home, but it would be very hard for him to give up his dignity and his self-worth. He explained how Jesus left his exalted position on the right hand of God, and he came down to earth to live and walk among us. He gave up everything. His arrest and trial broke every law in the book. They did the trial at night, and they had no witnesses. Jesus was only 33 years old at the time. Jesus had to love each of us to go through his death willingly. Bro. Stanley said, “I must love him back and give him my life. God can do lots of miracles to get our attention. But for Jesus to give up his life for us that should be what gets our attention”.
