Happy Birthday to my husband, Junior. He had a great birthday and was able to hear from all of the kids. Oldest daughter, Janice Morris spent sometime with him as did some of her family. On Sunday, after church at Elkland, we had a nice lunch with youngest daughter, Jeanette Evans and her family and Butch Alcorn at Sheila’s Place. It was a nice time spent together, but we had to get home in time to watch Nascar.
I am glad that I am finally feeling better. I have fought several things this winter and am glad to be feeling better today. I know that many of you have been fighting this stuff as well and hope you are all improving and feeling better.
Happy belated birthday to great granddaughter, Lily Inman of Seymour. It seems that all of our great grandchildren are growing up so fast. She is sure a cutie!
I had a nice visit by telephone with Becky Ramsey recently who is recovering from a recent operation. Many of you have met Becky or her husband John, when they have been visiting or helping at Kindall Store over the years. Becky had a booth in the window at the store for a longtime and they are such great people. She said that she was improving and getting over a virus as well. They have always been such strong supporters of our community and I wanted to let you all know of her progress. Please continue to lift her up in your prayers.
That is all of the news that I have this week. We are sure anxious to see more signs of spring. Our niece, Sandy Jones (daughter of my oldest sister, Veva Berry) in Georgia has reported that she has seen robins in the yard. We are all holding tight to the thought that we will soon see them as well.
If you get a chance, stop on by our neck of the woods. You are always welcome and hope to see you here in these pages again soon. God Bless!
