After singing, and devotion, we asked God to bless and care for those with serious illnesses, and those still recuperating. We appreciated having Betty and Lenore visit, they are homefolks to us.
Brother Ric read from Ephesians 2:21-22, how as God’s people we are fitly framed together. We each have a part in God’s church so we must all work together, a very good message.
We sang the happy birthday song for Sister Hellen Blakey, who was the honored guest at an open house hosted by her children. There was a large crowd that came and went, joined by everyone at church.
Our new bible study lesson will begin this Sunday evening at 5:30, about the last week of Christ’s life, a study to last until Easter. This will come from the book of Mark. Please come and join us, I’m sure you will be blessed.
Mae Cox had lots of visitors this week: Joseph and Amanda Elliott and baby, Tim Hall, Lauren and Hunter, Betty Jenkins and Lenore Burton, Jo Stephens, Kay Hutchison, Hellen Blakey, Tom and Donna Nichols, Lisa Johnson and Jesse, Lue Coy and Venetta Brummett, and Brother Ric and Lisa Englehardt.
Mary Ann Hathcock received red roses from Tom and Rosie Harris which she appreciated. Other visitors with Martin and Mary Ann this week were Pat and Wes, Jennifer and Weston, Ronda, Jim, Harold and Kay Hutchison. Bob and son, Caleb, came and built a ramp for Mary Ann to have access to the car for her doctor’s appointment.
Company for Tom and Jewell Elliott this week was James Elliott, Mr. and Mrs. Shaun Elliott, MaKayla and Logan.
Martin Hathcock and Pat Smith visited Harold and Kay Hutchison, Friday afternoon.
Kevan and Haley Richards and Garrett, Jeanne Cox, visited one afternoon with Jackie Acton and Wyatt, in their new home in Willard. They went out to a local eatery to celebrate Kevan’s birthday.
Pat Lansdown did her mom’s grocery shopping this week. So far Myrl has avoided the flu bug. Her visitors were Ronnie and Pat, Jeanne Cox and Garrett and Paul Cox.
Kim and Danny Clements visited Harold and Kay, Friday afternoon.
