Carol Ann Frye, 46

Carol Ann Frye, 46, of Greenbrier, Ark., passed away on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, after an unending six and a half year battle with cancer. She was born on Friday, July 1, 1966, in Mansfield, Mo., to Tom and Jo Ann (Ewing) Pierce.
Carol was everything that a mom should and needed to be.  She taught her daughters all that they needed to know and they wouldn’t be who they are today without her guiding hand. She gave one hundred percent in every aspect of her life and her family was no exception. Her time was spent not  only being a good mother, but also being a good wife to her husband.  She was a hard worker, who knew everything about her family’s car racing business. She was saved in the summer of 1978. She was concerned with her own faith as well as the faith of others and made sure to help anyone.
She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Bill Frye; daughters, Madison Frye and Sarah Frye, of Greenbrier; parents, Tom and Jo Ann (Ewing) Pierce, of Ava, Mo.; and brothers, Larry and Kay Pierce, and Kenny and Jeanie Pierce, of Ava, Mo.
Services were held at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, Feb. 13, at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Greenbrier, Ark., with Dr. Martin Jameson officiating.  Burial followed at Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m., on Tuesday, Feb. 12, at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Carol Frye College Fund at any First Security Bank location.
Arrangements were by Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Greenbrier, Ark.
