I talked with Bonnie Phipps and she said she got out Sunday and went to church. She is doing okay. Carol Moore took Marie Dickey to Mansfield to her O.E.S. meeting last Monday. Jo Stephens took some eggs into town for me last Tuesday because I have been staying in to get rid of my cold. I received a call from my good friend Joyce Groom’s, daughter-in-law and she said that Joyce had passed away, her Birthday would have been the 29th of this month. Tara brought Jett over Thursday and Mark came by, then James came by with a card that was addressed to George and Violet, so he left it and Violet picked it up when she came to town that evening. Joel and Monica brought Ruger up for the week end for me to watch. Saturday, I took Chris to town to get groceries and then I went by Marie Dickey’s for awhile. Kay Hutchison stopped by and picked up her eggs. Sunday, after church, I went to the Lodge Hall to practice and when I left there, I stopped by the nursing home and dropped off some cold cream for Pauline Schauffler.
My prayers and sympathy go out to all the ones who have lost a loved one. Let’s keep our sick folks in our prayers because the list just keeps piling up. Let’s keep our leaders and the men and women in the service and their families and the ones in training in our prayers.
