All Around Bradleyville

Snowbirds, robins and redbirds are sitting all over my backyard, but no snow has fallen yet and I hope it stays that way. No snow, but the frost was so thick this morning it almost looked like snow. Then it clouded up, and the old wisdom says that clouding up on a frost means it will snow that day. The birds flocking in big numbers is a sign of snow coming too. I did see a few flakes when I was out running errands so I hope that fulfills the old sayings for now. I saw that east and south of here and some places in Arkansas did get a few inches of snow. It is pretty but that doesn’t persuade me to want any.

While I was out running errands today, of course I had to go to some of the thrift stores and I found a very nice high chair at my favorite shop at a bargain price. With twin grandchildren and a great-grandchild expected next summer I am on the hunt for lots of baby equipment.

Julie and Garrett Lawson visited with Garrett’s grandpa, Ivan Lawson and great-grandmother Dorothy for a while Tuesday afternoon. Last week Garrett stayed the day with his grandma, Carrie Jenkins while Julie went to a doctor appointment in Springfield.
