Sunday morning service opened with Christmas Carols by the band then prayer requests and prayer. Waylon and Kami Souder sang a beautiful special. The Praise Team then sang some songs.
Brother Roberts brought the message from Matthew 3:1-5, “Repent Ye.”
Nora Edwards enjoyed visiting and having lunch on Monday with Kenneth and Candy Lane, later in the evening Nora Edwards and Mary Mackey visited with Suanne Sutherland, Arleen Henningsen and Donna Detherage while delivering fruit baskets from Walnut Grove Church. Nora also visited with Suanne Sutherland Thursday and Doyne Huffman one day.
Visiting in the home of Bob and Nora Edwards during the week were Toby and Jacinda Sheppard, Miranda Milligan, Alexis Swearengin and Shelden Walker.
On Saturday, Delmar and I joined Tommy and Jayme Keith, Betty and Justice DeChenne, Andy and Brittany Mayberry, Jeff and Dianne for a Christmas dinner and gift exchange. On Sunday evening, we had all my kids, grandkids and great-grandkids for dinner and gift exchange, We also, took pictures of everyone. Those attending were Bevy Moore, Randy, Tabitha, Raylee, Caydee and Jaycee Burton, Keith and Donna Bannister, Brent and Synthia Bishop, Shawn, Summer, Caidence and Conner Johnson, Rusty, Becky, Hailey and Maeson Carter, Nora Hunsaker and Lee Williams. We sure enjoyed everyone being together.
On Friday evening, Delmar and I enjoyed supper with Jack, Barb and Miracle Breshears.
Others visiting in our home this week were Pauline Okhuysen and Julie Kookagey.
On Friday Delmar and I visited in the home of my mom, Nora Hunsaker and Lee Williams. Later that day my mom was surprised to be visited by Violet Flair and three of Violet’s granddaughters and two grandkids.
I talked to Aunt Violet Morris one day and Uncle Hugh was back from the hospital and doing better.
I talked to Uncle Mack Miller and he is just doing fine. Still going pretty strong at the ripe age of 94. I am so blessed to have my mom, and an aunt and two uncles in my life.
