Sunday morning service opened with the Praise Team singing then prayer requests and prayer.

Brother Roberts brought the message from Philipians 3:7-16, “Seize the Moment, Live Life to the Fullest.”

Sunday evening was our Thanksgiving/Christmas dinner and a large crowd enjoyed turkey, ham and all the trimmings plus lots of wonderful desserts. We sang, ate, visited and ate, ate, ate.

On Monday evening, the ladies met at Krazy Daze Cafe for our dinner and Christmas gift exchange to find out who our secret sister has been all year. A lot of visiting and fun was enjoyed by all.

Those visiting in the home of Bob and Nora Edwards were Sheila Gray, Marilyn Sickler, Toby and Jacinda Sheppard, Alexis Swearengin, Miranda Milligan and Shelden Walker.

Those visiting in our home this week were, Vern and Kathleen Deatherage, Noah Deatherage, CR Kinner, Lee Williams, Nora Hunsaker, Bevy Moore, Eldon Bice, Pauline Okhuysen, Sandra Cleghorn, Kim Huff, Jack, Barbara and Miracle Breshears, Beth Stafford and Johnathon Snelson Earnie and Helen Cook.

Delmar attended two auctions last week and said everything was selling pretty cheap. Delmar also, visited with his daughter and great granddaughter, Betty and Justice DeChenne, while in Forsyth on Saturday.

We have heard of several sick and having surgery this week and we pray for fast recovery for all of them.

I have been busy sewing, making candies and just general housework. Seems the house always is in need of some kind of straightening-up.
