A good morning to all our readers. We hope everyone had a good weekend. Mine was a sadful one, but very busy as we said goodbye to a dear friend who had passed away.
We send get-well wishes to all the sick, the ones in the hospitals, and the nursing homes. Hope you are up and about real soon.
Our sympathy to all who have lost loved ones. May God bless you in your time of sorrow. Our thoughts are with you.
Also we send greetings to all the birthday people who have a big day at this time. May you have a great day with many more to come.
This news from the desk of Fae Pruett. Recent company of Fae’s has been Lois Graham, Evelyn Witchey, Wanda Hutchinson, Geneva McCullough and Norma Jones. Evelyn Witchey and Fae visited Dale and Howard Thomas Sunday evening. Our hats are off to Pastor Tom and Matthew as they came Sunday afternoon to share the word of God and to do a sing-along with us. We always look forward to their visit which is the first Sunday of the month at two o’clock. Come join us and share the afternoon in the activity room.
This note is to our residents. There has been some Christmas cards put in our mailboxes in the activity room, so check yours out. The ladies and Derek did a nice job of decorating the activity room for the holidays. Our hats are off to them. Derek was our arms and legs for climbing and reaching high places.
Visitors of Norma Jones have been Derek Watkins and Peggy Greene. I, Norma, had a nice long visit by phone with an old schoolmate who most know as Shirley Copeland Smith. It sure was good to hear from her. We went to school at Wagner School.
If you have news just let us know, so until next week, stay warm, healthy and safe.
Jesus loves you.
