West Plains Names Art Show Winners

Winners of the annual Harlin Museum fall show were announced recently by show judge Rhonda Richter, art instructor and West Plains High School. Best of Show was “Frere Jacka” by Wildflower Self. First Place went to Regina Willard of West Plains for “Autumn Presence.” Second Place: “Forsyth Park” by Kathryn Fisher of West Plains, Third Place: “October Rain” by Raymond Popp of Mountain Grove. Additional prizes were:Roy Hathcock Award-“Wild Horses” by Gladys Morris, Norma and Bryce Hathcock Award-“Morning in the Field” by Gloria Gewinner Ide, The West Plains Artist Guild Award-“Alaska” by Emily Wehmer, the Vesta Harlin Award-“Floral Splash” by Mary Jane Morton, and the Helen Frater Memorial Award-“Tender Touch” by Jennie Diedeker. The show will continue until Oct. 27 at the Harlin Museum, 505 Worcester Ave., West Plains. Hours are noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
