This news from the desk of Lois Graham. Lois went with her nephew, Randall Graham, on Saturday to her niece, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Garrison’s for an early Thanksgiving. Others there were Mr. and Mrs. Dustin Tompkins and Alyssa of Oklahoma; Mr. and Mrs. Brian Garrison and twin girls and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Graham. A lot of good food was had. The men deer hunted. They were all going to Silver Dollar City.
This news from the desk of Fae Pruett. Visitors of Fae were Evelyn Witchey and her granddaughter, Janelle and her husband, Tim Adams from Oregon. Lois Graham, Wanda Hutchinson, Geneva McCullough came by and visited Fae for a while on Friday and brought me some food from the Thanksgiving dinner at the Senior Citizen Center. It was very good. Also, Juanita Dougherty visited on Thursday last week. We had our monthly dinner with 32 names on our guest list. We had 23 residents along with 9 guests. We had a lot of good food. A good time was had by all.
On the night of November the 13th I had quite an experience as I was having a sleep study done. I never saw so many wires in my life for one person to wear at one time. The one I will always remember was the one that was put on my pointer finger of my right hand and when it was hooked up, it was like a bright red Christmas bulb. I now know how Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer felt. I slept with my right hand under the covers so it wouldn’t keep me awake all night. It was to check the oxygen in my blood. Boy, what a night and I am glad it is over.
Visitors of Norma Jones have been Peggy Greene, Derek, Kim and Jerry Lee, Steven and Jacob Watkins.
Have a good week. Stay healthy and happy until next week. Jesus loves you and we have a lot to be thankful for.
