Gentry Church is having their Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner Saturday, December 1 at 6 p.m.

Our sympathy goes out to the Owen Denney family, Gentry Church served dinner for the family.

We were glad to see Ronnie and Nancy Breshears in church with us Sunday. Some from the church attended the Fourth Sunday Singing at Mt. Calvary Church.

Come and join us on Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. We are studying the book of John and now in the fifth chapter.

I along with my family attended the memorial service for my sister-in-law, Marie Reich, at the General Baptist Church in West Plains last week.

Many prayer requests were sent up to our heavenly father and keep Sharon Ginder and Danny Cutbirth in your prayers.

Pastor Hall’s morning message was from Colossians 1:9-17, “Essentials of The Christian Faith”. One is the virgin birth of our Lord Jesus, we have to have a plan of salvation, believe in the redemption through the blood of Jesus, believe Bible is word of God, the resurrection and second coming of Jesus Christ.

In our Sunday evening service we had singing and testimonies. Our special song was by a group made up of Narvil Tetrick, Glenda Miller, Janice Young, Wanda Casady and Wendell Deo.

Bro. Hall’s message was from Exodus 3:7. All scriptures are given by inspiration of God. God speaks with authority and we need to respect and obey the word of God.
