The trees are really getting pretty here in the Ozarks. They are going to be perfect for the Glade Top Trail viewers this year. Hope there will be a big turn out.
We got a call this week from Washington. Our cousin, Lena (Sis) Hull passed away. She was the daughter of the late Lenord and Dorothy Upson. They moved to Washington back in the forties. She was the granddaughter of Henery Applegate that lived around the Oldfield area.
Georgia Sanders came up Saturday to spend a few days with Norma Cross and other relatives. Dick and I and Kinsey Thompson took Kyle Thompson to his last Mighty Mites football game Thursday evening in Sparta. Those little guys really play rough, but it is fun to watch them.
Margie Jenkins and her son, Vick, from Poplar Bluff has been visiting with family and friends the past week. Mike Woodall had back surgery last week. He is home. I hear he is doing okay.
What a beautiful spirit-filled service at Goodhope General Baptist Sunday. We had wonderful worship songs with a spirit-filled message preached by our pastor, David Welsh. Susie Adams did a special. Our attendance was 75.
Rodney, Lisa and Kayli Brown were Sunday dinner guests of Tom and Sue Brown.
