We had folks gone Sunday, however, we had a very good day to join together and pray for our loved ones and thank Him for His blessings. Our Sunday School lesson was very good, with lots of discussion.
Brother Ric read from Jonah, cautioning us about running from God. It is a lesson many have had to deal with in their Christian life. Lessons are not always easy, but always for a purpose.
Remember our Senior Retreat will be at Camp Piland, October 26, beginning at 4 p.m. and continuing into Saturday afternoon.
We continue our study on Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. about the Patriarchs, working from a book by Beth Moore, please join us if you don’t have bible study.

Those visiting with Bessie Hall of late were Tom and Jewell Elliott, J.C. and Vicky, Carla Wilson, Lisa Johnson and Jesse, Kim Clements, Morgan, Dylan and Sarah Claussen, Kay Hutchison, and Jeff and Ronda Elliott. Bessie and Kim took a drive around Monday to look at all the beautiful trees. Bessie enjoys all of her visitors and phone callers.

Johnny and Pauline Pruiett were here from Illinois for the Breedon School Reunion. They also visited his sister, Mae Cox, and other relatives. Mae’s other visitors were Betty Jenkins and Lenore Haden, Lisa Johnson and Jesse.
